The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged what we consider normal in our everyday world.  We all have been forced to do things differently.  Instead of our weekly face-to-face luncheons, the Kansas City Kansas Rotary Club has moved its meetings to a virtual platform.  ZOOM meetings began on March 31st.
The club was worried about not being able to continue with its annual Student Scholarship contest.  With local schools closed for the remainder of the school year, there was no way to evaluate students in person. Thanks to to ingenuity of several members, the club hosted the male high school student presentations on ZOOM on April 21st.  Female students will present virtually on April 28th.  The top male student and top female student will each receive a $1,500 scholarship.
