Leah Schwarz, LSCSW, LCSW, RPT
Leah is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri, and a Registered Play Therapist. She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Leah is passionate about working with children, teens, adults, and families.
She draws on over 7 years of bilingual experience, 4 years working with children and families in community mental health and 3 years working with survivors of domestic violence and their families. She is bilingual in English and Spanish from having lived in Bolivia for most of her childhood and travelling around Central and South America.
Leah believes in the dignity and worth of all people and approach therapy with the belief that everyone is doing the best they can in the situation they are in. I believe Each person is on their own unique journey and she strives to meet clients where they are on their journey.
